Remember me gabbing about some sort of excitement a few months ago? It had something to do with a new Creating Keepsakes special issue...oh yeah, this one.
The one that is for sale NOW! (Whoo-hoo!) You can pick it up on the newstand or order your very own copy HERE.
You probably also remember that my very own little scrap studio is being featured as one of the many inspiring creative spaces. (Double whoo-hoo!) Well, I thought I would share a photo of the day the very nice photographer Connie came to the house.
You can see that my room is quite long but very narrow. We had to do some creative framing to try to get the whole gist of it. Connie probably shot 100 frames or more, so it will be interesting to see which ones landed in the magazine (no, I haven't seen a copy yet).
Too much fun!
How about a little excitement for the weekend? I am heading to the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Show, but I want to give away a free copy of Creative Spaces, Vol. 2! You game? Just leave me a comment about your scrap space (something you like, or dislike) and I will enter you to win! I will leave the comments open over the weekend, so post away.
Also, for a very tantalizing sneak peek of the issue, click HERE. You will eye-spy a photo of Heather Bailey's space (love!).
I absolutely love my space, but it is in the back of my basement. I dream of a room with a view!

Love the color of your room!
I'm working on organizing my space and would love this issue to get some inspiration!

Hi, Kim! So excited that your scrap space made it into this issue. My crafting space is my dining room table, and boy is it a mess. I would love to find a better way to organize it. Can't wait to see this new issue! Thanks for the chance to win :-)

OH, how fun! Your room is so cute! The long and thin must be fabulously cozy and yet totally workable for organization, too! Love it!

Love it - and hey....is that the little filing cabinet I see over there?

I have a small desk area in my bedroom...well a least it keeps me on my toes to keep it cleaned up and reminds me to use what I have. I dream of my own space.

Had to finally give up my craft room for more bedroom space... so now it's all in my bedroom. Haven't quite figured out how to make it all work yet. But the lighting is very poor!

Love the color of your walls in your stamp space! My crafting room also doubles as my college-age son's room. He has gotten used to stuff all over the place when he comes home!

Love your room. It looks a lot better than mine. Mine is a big mess. I start to redo it last summer but I have not completed it. Everything is on the floor while I am waiting on my dad to build me by dream shelves. I wounder how many months I still have to wait on this?

Love your little space...love my little space too!

My craft room is in the basement and I like almost everything about it except I want to see outdoors. I have a little tiny basement window and can see my iris in the spring but that's about it. Can't wait to see all the crafty spaces in this issue!

Very fun colorful space. In my craft space, I like the work bench where I stand to stamp but the decor is not that great--it is in an unfinished basement.

Congratulations on being featured. Your room color looks so lovely. I might just switch to a lighter blue color for our room instead of cream. I love my craft area because it's beside my bed :) Thank you for the chance to win this book.

I love that I have a whole room to myself (thanks hubby!) I also love that i have work workspace along the whole wall. I will admit it's not as pretty and well organized as your space, but it works for me, and I love being there.....Congrats on being featured, and thanks for the chance to win!

Wish I had a scrap space. Right now I have my material organized in different stacked Art Bin containers stored in the hallway and two other rooms. Would love to have one organized space.

I love my craft room - even though right now it's super messy! Love the colors of your space (and that washer & dryer is sweet!)

my scrap space is too small...wish i had a bigger room...my 7 yr. old granddaughter likes to scrap with me so we end up in the dining room area, making trips back and forth getting supplies...

Love the color of your room! I really like my craft room, except I need some tips on storing my scraps of paper & just better overall organization!

Very excited to see this issue. I love that I have my own room for crafting but I look forward to the day that I can replace the folding tables with counters and cabinets.
