Many of the advantages of a Paper Crafts Magazine cruise are:
- You get the best of both worlds: travel and crafting
Meeting new friends from around the world
Delicious food (and no dishes to do)
Awesome goodie bags
Instruction from really nice teachers <grin>
Exclusive stamp set from Technique Tuesday
Card Swap with 40 new friends
Tons of laughs and good times
Need some proof?
(We didn't have really great lighting for photographs and I hate using the flash=some blurry shots - sorry).
Our cute door banners made by Events Specialist Brooke!
Formal Night dinner - Beth and Susan looked beautiful!
Special Guest Jaclyn and her hubster Toby.
My roomie and I dressed up for dinner, too.
P.S. Teri=awesome roommate! I puffy heart her.
So, we had a Card Swap the last evening on board. Everyone brought 40 cards and we swapped like crazy. Okay, a few gals didn't bring cards, but we were easily bribed with chocolate for swapping, too. Above are my "mostly finished" cards. Heh.
Swapping in action. (See what I mean about the lighting). Serious amounts of fun happening, though!
So, what did you think about having a GIVEAWAY? I just so happen to have three cards leftover from the Card Swap! How about giving those away and throwing in one of the awesome-tastic stamp sets that Technique Tuesday made especially for us?
And, just to get you more excited - here are cards that Teri and I made for the class we taught on the cruise.
And mine (which says "A very big hello"). Hee.
So, leave me a comment sometime this weekend telling me about your ideal vacation (cruise or otherwise) and I will enter you to win the cards and the stamp set.
Giveaway open until Sunday evening - Nov. 20th, midnight PST.
Good luck!
Later.
My idea of a great vacation...going anywhere with my husband where he can relax and not worry about getting back to work. I hate those vacations where I can tell he has something else on his mind.

I would love going on a vacation to the mountains or beach or anywhere in between. Our family loves the beach! And if it were an ideal vacation, we'd be disconnected from the world wide web while there, build huge sandcastles and just enjoy the beauty of the beach.

I've always wanted to cruise to Alaska
but ideally the beach is where we end up on vacation

looks like you had a ton of fun!!! love the cards!!
my ideal vacation would be laying on a warm, sandy beach (I'm dreaming of Aitutaki in the Cook Islands as I type) with a book & a cool beverage.... :)

OMG- the cruise looks like SO much fun! I wish I could have gone.
My ideal vacation would be to go to Italy and Greece to see where my family came from.

Hawaii, the Carribbeans, Fiji?!? Not really sure where, but I'd love to go somewhere tropical! I'd want to do nothing and be lazy but yet, also go on some kind of an adventure and forget about work!

A cruise would be a great vacation but I would love to go to Hawaii!

My ideal vacation would be staying home, but having someone come cook, clean, and watch the kids. I would have the TV/remote to myself, would be able to relax, shop, watch my shows, and craft all day, and still get to spend some time with the family in the afternoon/evenings. This way, I wouldn't have some crazy travel via car/airport to deal with, no time changes to mess with the kids' sleep schedules, and no laundry to do when I got home (plus my house would be pristine since someone is cleaning up after us all).
Thanks for the chance to win some great stuff! I puffy heart it!

My ideal vacation is actually a cruise. Loved the one we've taken-perfect mixture of relaxing days at sea and fun days exploring new places.

My ideal vacation would be to go somewhere south = really warm. Living in Alaska when we leave it's usually always to see family = flat country and corn. :) But have to admit we are pretty spoiled with the beauty around us.

I would love to take a tropical cruise! However, the Disney cruise sounds amazing too especially since I have little people. I've NEVER been on a cruise and it's on my bucket list.

Laying on a beach in the Caribbean...lots of sun, sand, and surf!
OR
Having my husband take the kids to a hotel for a weekend and I have the house to myself and can craft away with no distractions!

My ideal vacation includes some historical sites, some shopping, some "how things are made" stops, & lots of eating @ places we've seen on Food Network/Travel Channel.

Wow! Looks like everyone had an awesome time. Of course, paper crafting on a cruise, so how could it not be good???!?!?
Grand Caymans rule it for me. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met.

Ideal vacation....hmmmm....I am not sure I would like a cruise, so I am going to go with attending another scrapbook convention. How about the giant one at Mall of America!? (oh...and a preloaded visa card for the shopping would be a nice touch too! lol) Can't hurt to dream!

Your pictures are awesome! It looks like you had a blast. My dream vacation would be cruising around Cape Horn and hiking/seeing the Patagonia. But right now I'd settle for an entire day by a pool by myself (no hubby, no kids, no work, no phones).

Rocky Point, Mexico is my "heaven-on-earth". Rented condo that opens directly to the beach/ocean. No crowds, just calming walks along the beach to collect shells, then make mini-albums with my AWESOME sister-in-law!! I need to go back!
