Thanks for being so patient with me - I was a lousy blogger last week. But, it's a new day, right? My Dad just celebrated his 70th birthday last night, so a bunch of time was spent setting that up. Oh, and Eloise was diagnosed with pueumonia on Tuesday, so yeah. Busy week.
Regardless, I've been dying to share my CHA Squeal List. It's an annual tradition that Ally and I started a few years ago. We each have to make a list of our top ten items - specifically items that make us gasp or squeal (lovely, right?). Ally posted her list HERE. Mine is as follows.
#1 Crate Paper Toy Box. Just love the icons, the colors, the whole mood of this one. I could create pages and cards with this all day long.
#2 Lawn Fawn - specifically their "Say Cheese" stamp set. Wonderful new company - adorable folks, adorable booth and adorable stamps. 'Nuff said.
#3 Quickutz new Party Flags dies - the paper crafter in me is jumping for joy. I can see using this set over and over again; wish I had it for Dad's birthday last night!
#4 Cosmo Cricket Social Club, oh so hip and trendy and spot on for color and style. Love it.
#5 Hemptique hemp and baker's twine, just the right weight, texture and awesome color selection. Their baker's twine in natural plus metallic was a huge "squeal" (not pictured).
#6 GCD Funhouse collection - the best embellishments hands down, plus really cute paper, too. A win win, for sure.
#7 Pink Paislee Soiree, are you sensing a trend here? Bright, cheerful, FUN! Right up my alley. Yummo.
#8 Technique Tuesday Chit Chat set - just add whimsical to the above description and you've nailed it. I think I begged Eileen to send this to me. (Hey, I'm not above a little begging).
#9 American Crafts Campy Trails - I mean, come on. Just the title of this line screams cute. Love the colors, the patterns, um, all of it.
10. May Art Linen Ribbon - you have to feel this to believe it, so soft yet sturdy. This ribbon came in striped and windowpane and had the best texture. Can't wait to use this on my cards.
Whew! Thanks for hanging in there! Now, for a reward, please leave me a comment on your favorite new product (from my blog or any other) and I will enter you to win. My last giveaway went to Australia. Wow! I have a Paper Crafts special issue plus a bundle of other goodies to throw in with it. Contest will stay open until Thursday night (I will announce the winner on Friday).
Stay tuned for some crazy fun photos of CHA tomorrow! Love.
Later.
I guess someone has to be first! I like the Linen Ribbon the best although I imagine the Lawn Fawn Stamps would be great too (Can't see the actual designs on the photos).
