It seems like we BOTH might be lucky today! Remember that 25th Anniversary party Keith and I were lucky enough to have last month? We received tons of thoughtful gifts; the "big" one was from my parents and our kids. Check it.
Um yeah. That's a whole lotta new Fiestaware dishes. Lucky, lucky us. They make dinnertime so much fun!
To top it off, the really great folks over at CSN stores - specifically Cookware.com are letting me review another product for them. This time it's my very first Le Creuset in the house.
Awww -look how cute they are! We desperately needed a new salt and pepper set, so this was perfect timing. I just love them. And the service and shipping from Cookware was awesome. Two thumbs up. (BTW, they have a ton of great Le Creuset on special for 40% off - great prices).
So, here's the "lucky you" part. Since I'm a pretty good sweet talker, I snagged a nice little Le Creuset set to give away! How about this:
Ouch. This is a tough one not to keep for myself. But, I wouldn't be doing this whole blogging thing if is wasn't for my loyal readers, right? Props to you.
Just leave me a comment about your latest cooking adventure. I'm also curious to know if you already own some Le Creuset, if you like it, what you own, what you use. I have a feeling a few more pieces need to make their way into my kitchen. Hee, hee.
The contest will be open through Friday night (midnight PST). I have to limit this one to my U.S. readers since Cookware is shipping this directly to you. THANKS!
Good luck!
Later.
Love the colors of these bowls! My latest cooking experience includes trying many recipes from The Pioneer Woman Cookbook. Love it!

I love your new dishes, and I totally *need* those bowls!!! :)

Holy Moly....gorgeous colors! I SO totally love them and am super-duper jealous! :)
Latest cooking adventure, eh? Well...I tried to create Mussels and Black Bean Sauce for DH's BDay, LOL! Yeah, that was an adventure, I had never cooked mussels and had to play around with the sauce to get it just right! He was a gracious recipient, though, and it tasted pretty good!
I haven't had the pleasure to own Le Creuset, as my kids and DH have seemingly been breaking my dishes left and right. But I am down to one at home and getting ready to go to college and I might just treat myself to some 'good' dishes now!
Congrats to whoever wins them, I would be razzed!!

So happy for you getting a whole new set of Fiestaware. Such a wide range of colors!
As for Le Creuset - I don't have any (yet?). I guess you could say my latest cooking adventure involved buying some new pans. Our non-stick pans were pretty darn sticky. I don't know much about cookware and prices, so I tried to call my mom. She didn't answer her cell, so I ended up just calling my husband...which was pretty much a waste of time. Thank goodness Mom called me back. ;)
Thanks for the chance to win! We're glad you're a sweet talker.

beautiful dishes. Lucky you is right. I haven't made anything new lately but did snag a new Taste of Home Best Church Supper recipe cookbook at the boys book fair the other night. So many new things to try!

I do not have any Le Creuset but these bowls look so festive and fun, who wouldn't want them? My husband and I bought a small ice cream maker and we've been experimenting with different ice creams and sorbets.

Never tried le Creuset before, but I've heard nothing but raves about it. I'm on a clean eating adventure, trying to find healthy food that my picky eaters (husband AND kids) will eat on a regular basis!

Le Creuset needs a home at my house!! What a sweet way to mix up some Lemon Blueberry muffins, dipped in a sugar wash, of course!
Love how you have mixed the colors for your dinnerware! How Fun!

These would sure come in handy! My latest cooking adventure is cooking gluten free for my daughter who was just diagnosed with Celiacs Disease. I am going through more bowls than ever before when I cook as I diligently work to keep her things separate from the rest of the family's. A big RED bowl would certainly send the message for everyone else to keep their hands off! happy Anniversary. My husband and I will be celebrating our 22nd at the end of this month.

Wow what fun colors! I don't own any Le Creuset but could sure use some extra bowls. Whenever my granddaughter comes over we always spend time in the kitchen baking. We made cupcakes, brownies, bread and pizza last weekend. She would love the bright colors.

i have those salt & pepper shakers in that some blue color! love them!
latest cooking adventure: baking bread with my new bosch mixer!
Posted by: Debbie Kesti | May 13, 2010 at 07:15 AM
There's a Fiestaware outlet store about 1-1/2 hours from me. I can wander for ages looking at all the pretty colors and wondering what to take home with me.
My most recent cooking adventure was a no-bake peanut butter pie. It's yummy, but a bit strong - I thought I was adding a 16 oz container of CoolWhip only to discover, after the two skimpy pies were frozen, that it was only an 8 oz container. Oh well, at least I didn't mistakenly add salt instead of sugar!
I don't have ANY Le Creuset items in my kitchen, tho' I've often drooled over their products. I think those bowls would be a great way to start a new collection!

My latest cooking adventure was making Mother's Day Brunch for my fiancee's family (his parents, grandmother, sisters, their husbands, and kids). I had a great time doing it, and everyone loved the food.
A Mother's Day filled with great memories!

Oooooo, the colors! I love colorful anything and these would make meal times so much fun! A recent cooking adventure of ours was cooking Panamanian - we made a casserole called Johnny Mazetti (yep, it's really from Panama) and it was crazy yummy!
Thanks for the give away!

My new adventure with cooking is just cooking everything for the first time in years! I'm getting remarried and my fiance loves just about any home-cooked meal or homemade dessert, so after being a one-woman household for nearly ten years and acting like a frozen dinner was a gourmet treat, I am cooking and baking again, dragging out all of my old recipes and searching for new ones, and I love it! Our latest adventure was homemade lasagne with cheesecake for dessert. My poor understocked kitchen could sure use some beautiful new Le Creuset to help it get back into cooking condition. Thanks for the chance to win! Oh, and I am soooo jealous of your Fiestaware.....

So pretty! My latest "cooking" adventure was letting my three year old help make a variety of dinners - mac and cheese, PB&J, etc.
Posted by: Katie M | May 13, 2010 at 10:46 AM
You are going to love your Fiesta Ware dishes - I got my set from our wedding and we use them everyday and they still look brandnew seven years later! Plus, they are so fun and colorful on the table and the cabinet! The Le Creuset bowls would go well with the set!
Posted by: Sarah Anne | May 13, 2010 at 10:49 AM
*sigh* I dont own Le Creuset or Fiesta. LOVE the colors though. My latest cooking adventure is to let my husband do it! He cooks and I do the dishes.

LOOOOOOOOOVE CSN stores! I have some LeCreuset bowls and would love more! My latest cooking adventure isn't happening...I haven't been grocery shopping in two weeks...I just don't do it anymore...and in Feb. we ate out 20 times out of 28.....March....18....not good on the cooking side! However, if I won these bowls--I would totally try and use them:)

I don't know if I have a latest cooking adventure...but I am always trying to find new recipes that the whole family will like.
Posted by: Shannon R. | May 13, 2010 at 02:47 PM
I just started cooking two weeks ago, since me & my boyfriend decided we needed to stop going out so much & instead budget our money. So far, I've learned to make several kinds of soups, chili, Moroccan chicken & meatloaf. I never thought cooking would be fun, but I'm loving it! Thanks for the chance to win!

My latest cooking adventure was trying my first recipes from Julia Child's cookbook: The Art of French Cookbook. The roasted chicken was heavenly and I'm so glad that I was brave enough to go for it. I love the vibrant colors of the dishware.

My latest cooking adventure was supper tonight. I made pizza with tastefully simple savory wheat beer bread as the crust (i make it with diet coke always-only beverage i have around) topped it with pizza sauce -store bought this time, I ran out of the canned stuff from last summer; sausage and the cheeses,mmmm-mozzarella-provolone mix, some grated parmesan and this delish monterey jack with pesto I just got from Sam's. Thick chewy crust and divine flavors...

I tried a new recipe recently which turned out to be a keeper. I tape Tylers Ultimate shows and my husband loves pulled pork sandwiches so I had to try this one out.

I've actually never heard of this cookware but it's beautiful!

One of my latest cooking adventures involved a putting a chocolate cake in the oven only to realize I'd never added the eggs which were by then looking rather forlorn on the counter. Shoot!
I'm sure lovely LeCreuset mixing bowls would have prevented such a culinary oopsydaisy.

On Monday, I had the day off, so I decided to thaw out all the bananas from our freezer and bake up a storm. One pan banana bars, one pan banana muffins, 5 loaves banana bread, oh- and 4 tubs of strawberry jam because they were 88 cents at safeway last week. Yes, we have banana products coming out of our ears :) Actually, they are all in the freezer for future enjoyment.

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing giveaway! I have admired this cookware for so long but don't own any yet, just drop my jaw anytime I see them displayed in stores. I'm drawn to the bright colors. My most recent cooking project was more in the baking category, rhubarb crisp and rhubarb pecan muffins, yum!
Posted by: Jan Ledman | May 13, 2010 at 07:45 PM
Wow look at all of those pretty dishes :) I do not own a Le Creuset but have been eyeing them.... I am getting married in the fall & will add some Le Creuset onto my gift registry!!! My latest cooking adventure is baking a cake...no drama, I can bake just have to learn how to cook!
Posted by: Michelle A. | May 13, 2010 at 10:23 PM
There are no Le Creuset anything hiding in my kitchen, yet! I have made the crumbly lemon squares and are those ever tasty!

I love Fiesta Ware. I remember my Grandmother had a set when I was little and I loved picking my favorite color to eat off of. I also love the colors of the Le Creuset set, I often ogle them in the store. I am not the best cook but I love to bake, we just had new neighbors move in so I got to make yummy brownies for them. :)
Posted by: Sarah | May 14, 2010 at 05:43 AM
oh Kim - what a great giftie from your fam!!!
BUT what a great set of bowlies too! I have drooled and oogled Le Creuset pieces before, but can't ever pull the trigger. I think I'm afraid I'd become addicted?
My latest adventure was Chicken Empenada for the boy's confirmation party. They were a "6" on a scale 1-10. But I've already figured out my mistakes, and will try them again to shoot for a TEN!
THANKS :)

Love the fiesta ware and the beautiful bowls. I'm thinking even my not so good cooking would be aided by these bowls! Thanks for the chance to win. The last thing I cooked was spag/meatballs with cheesy garlic bread.
Posted by: Kathy T | May 14, 2010 at 06:48 AM
Oh my, such beautiful Fiestaware! I've loved their colors for such a long time. LeCreuset is beautiful too. I don't own any, though. Bummer for me. My last cooking adventure was a layer cake for my neighbor's 10 year old son's birthday. He loves the game "Battleship" so I made two ships (with the Cricut Cake), one "sinking" into the frosting. He was delighted and just heard the family enjoyed eating the cake. Yay! Thanks for the chance to enter drawing for the beautiful bowls. They are gorgeous!

I don't own any Le Creuset, but I cook alot and my friend does own Le Creuset, but doesn't cook at all, so I use hers when I am visitng. Last weekend we had a late Cinco de Mayo blowout and I made Black Beans and Rice in her dutch oven - YUMMY!
Posted by: Beth Watson | May 14, 2010 at 12:56 PM
I love Fiestaware! We actually use a set that my grandma used in her own kitchen and in just love that family connection. No Le Creuset yet, but maybe very soon...

FUN, FUN, FUN!! Honestly, Fiesta Ware is such a perfect representation of your fun and vibrant personality. I love new dishes, and would love to add those sweet mixing bowls to my collection. I need to learn that gift of "sweet talking" from you, I guess. Thanks for the chance to win them!!

Lucky you to receive all that yummy fiestaware ... I just started my collection with a nice gift certificate from my husband on Mothers Day. I love the colors in the set of Le Creuset you are giving away, they'd work perfectly in the kitchen with the new Fiesta ware since I'm mixing my colors. My latest cooking adventure involves just re-learning how to cook and eat since recently being diagnosed as a stage 2 diabetic ... it's no fun, I can tell you that. Everything I've always loved seems to be on the "very limited" to "not at all" list. So ... new pretty kitchen ware would certainly at least make it more fun while I change my way of life. Thanks for the chance to win.

I do have a few Le Crueset items and I love them. I have several small colorful bowls that we use for ice cream. Grandkids love to eat from colorful bowls! I have been making some of the 5 minute bread and I love it. Too much, it seems according to my waistband :)
