So, how are you enjoying Sketches Week? Fun, isn't it? And it' s not over yet. Today we are all about streeetching those sketches. You gotta use 'em, but not abuse 'em - flip them, mirror them, turn them upside down. Yeah, baby. Um, okay, getting a little scrap happy here.
Cath over at Moxie Fab World gave us a challenge for today. Take this adorable sketch by Kim H. and give it a little twist.
I decided to give this little guy a push - over to the left by 90 degrees. Like this.
There we go. Much better for the project I had in mind. My regular readers know that recently my husband Keith and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Isn't that awesome? I wanted a place to record the memories of our party and some special photos, so I made this cute mini album.
I love the yellow, red and gray color combination. The papers and album are all from the Little Yellow Bicycle's Fresh Print Clothesline collection. Really fun stuff. And the title? Quite appropriate don't you think?
Be sure to check out the other Go-to Gals (Betsy, Maren, Kim H., Teri and Jessica) and pop over to both Paper Crafts Connection and Moxie Fab World for chances to win FREE copies of Go-to Sketches!
Before you go, leave me a comment about anniversaries -- who do know that has celebrated some large number of years? Or how many have you celebrated? I'd love to know.
Later.
What a great idea..the mini-album, I mean. But also another great way to interpret the sketch! BTW..Happy Anniversary!!

Well... IF I had remained married, I'd be celebrating 25 years.

Your timing is amazing! My grandparents are about to celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary on Tax Day. I am so glad that you asked because now it is fresh in my mind, ahead of time! As for me, I have only 8 years of marriage behind me. I should be lucky to achieve the longevity of my grandparents!

Love the ruler image and the shape. At this rate, I hope to find someone and have a ten year anniversary before we enter the nursing home.

Tomorrow my DH and I will celebrate 30 years! Time has gone so quickly. Not one day goes by that I don't thank God for the gift of my husband. Our marriage has been more than I could have ever dreamed. I may try to whip up a mini album for him.
thanks for sharing

We were blessed to celebrate my grandparents' 69th anniversary last fall. I'm so glad my children have been able to know their grandparents since their influence has spanned so many generations in our family.
