I finished my latest garage sale DIY, so I thought it would be fun to share. Remember this five dollar special?
I knew I wanted to paint it like these:
So, I decided on yellow paint (glossy spray paint - I think I can handle this).
Then I used a whooooole bunch of blue painter's tape.
There's no chance of overspray happening here. Hee, hee.
First coat - done! Whoa. That is seriously yellow. Keep in mind, this is wet paint. (Like the dead grass in the background? Hee).
Two coats of paint later...and she's all done. So fresh and pretty. Let's see if Ello approves.
I think that cheesy grin says it all.
Rocking Chair: $5.00
Can of Spray Paint: $4.00
Painter's Tape: $1.00
That smile: Priceless
(Sorry, I couldn't resist).
Later.
Awesome! I want one! :D
Joshua (1,5 yrs) here is laughing and talking to Ello! :D Or maybe the chair! JK They'd make good friends looks like!
