I'm posting a challenge for the week. Name five things you are grateful for. It could be five things every day; one thing per day this week...whatever floats your boat. I'm aiming for five things per day. Won't you join me?
I know we don't need to be rewarded for being grateful; but I'm going to throw out a crafty prize for those who participate everyday. Leave your answers here or link me up to your Facebook or blog and I'll throw you in the hat. Well, throw your name in anyways.
So, let's see. Day one is easy.
I'm grateful for
1. Babies who play Peek-a-Boo
2. New nieces and nephews (one born yesterday in Sweden; another due anyday now in Flagstaff)
3. Early church service yesterday (plus the two hour nap I snuck in after lunch)
4. Grandmas and Grandpas
5. Getting started on Christmas shopping
See? Easy. Some serious, some silly. I know you can think of at least five.
Today I'm off to take (or attempt to take) some Christmas card photos for Mark and Rachael. Wish me luck.
Later.
As I await baby I think I needed this. Good time to focus on the positive...
- my kiddos (youngest is singing in his bed right now as he's waking up!)
- weather...it's been a beautiful fall!!
- my health...been feeling so good!
- parents health...they're getting up there in age but are doing good
- food...I'm off to eat breakfast!

2. My husband and kids. Always thankful, always loved.
3. That our summer holiday is in 15 days, wooohooooo, Florida here we come!!

5. Finally, I am thankful today that the H1N1 virus is starting so show some mercy in our house. One 3.5 year old on the mend, one 6.5 year old not as bad as he was and one exhausted 200 year old Mummy that is begging for just a 'normal childhood' 24 hour sickness to come back. I never want to re-visit the past week and a half.
:-)
