Thought it would be fun to post a few photos of the crop Friday night (Friday the 13th, remember?). Nothing bad happened (except the dumb Starbucks closed at 8pm!?) and we had a super good time. We started off with dinner at Tia Rosa's. You can't go wrong with yummy Mexican food.
From left to right we have Ashley, Ally, Terri, Karolyn, Kim and Kim.
We started off the crop by admiring Terri's HUGE tote of Copic markers. Serious drool city.
Kim nabbed the prize for first one to finish a project (love this cute little gift bag).
I think I was the second one done. By the end of the night I had finished eight layouts for my New York album. Sweet.
I think Ally and Ashley just about tied (?). Ally was totally inspired by her Studio Calico kit. Color me jealous.
Ashley is coyly trying to hide much of her layout since she made it for the Scrap Review site. You can see it and lots more coming to her site soon.
Whew! I haven't been to a crop at a store for several years. I had forgotten how fun it is. I think we are planning to schedule another sometime after CHA Winter - maybe early February. Won't you join us?
Later.
Cute pics, Kim!! I didn't get a chance to drool over all of your layouts - had no idea you guys were so productive Friday night!! Tells ya how distracted and in my own little world I was!! LOL It was fun meeting you and the other girls, enjoying that yummy Mexican dinner (thanks for sharing that location - will definitely be going back there!), and hanging out with some sweet new friends. Hope we can do it again real soon!
Hugs!
