Since we have now had two days in a row wherein the high temperature has nary reached 70 degrees; I officially declare it is FALL! Nice.
For those of you who don't believe that we have a change of seasons here in Arizona...I have photographic proof.
See that? Right there. It is a leaf fallen from our ash tree. Do not doubt me.
In other news, I have also started to pull out my fall-ish decorations. No, I do not have very many, but that's okay. I have a pretty cute little stash of glittery pumpkins and some gilded acorns, so I thought I would boost the look with a papercrafted pumpkin.
You like? I made the pumpkin out of cardstock, then I use some Basic Grey rub ons for the leaves (applied the rubs to cardstock, cut them out and added glitter) and a bit of craft wire for the vine. Easy, but it has a "wow" factor because of the glitter. Overall size is around 6 X 6 if you want to try this yourself.
Happy Fall!
Later.
OK I am giggling inside Kim... cause all I am thinking is tomorrow it is suppose to be 80 again.. and I love how it is ONE leaf from the tree...Gotta love season change in AZ we look hard to find it! LOL
I love the card! so cute
