Did you all have a fantastic World Card Making Day? I did, and I'm already making plans for next year! Lol!
Today I want to share with you a really important campaign from A Muse Studio and the American Cancer Society.
Yes, it's Stamp Out Breast Cancer all month long. Well, all year long, really. But, leave it to the creative minds at A Muse Studio to make "raising awareness" so darn fun. They have created an adorable stamp set that you can get for FREE! Seriously, they are giving out 10,000 Fight Like A Girl stamp sets. You can click HERE to see all the details, or you can give my gal Lori Barnett a shout (she's here in AZ) to order a set (heh, heh - you may have to add a few little things to your order, right?).
I was lucky enough to be asked to create a few "advance" cards with the set. Check it out.
For this first card I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold powder. I wanted the card to kind of celebrate the fighters out there. Confetti fight, anyone? (Love the confetti trend out there).
On this card, I really wanted to use the super cute push pin. This push pin was designed to be used on your home calendar, as a reminder to do your monthly self exams. Hey baby, early detection is the key. I also love the font on the sentiment here (I circled the stamped sentiment with a marker).
I have a few more cards to share tomorrow - AND a "pink" giveaway. A Muse Studio sent me a few extra goodies and I've added a few of my own. Be sure to check back tomorrow.
In the meantime, we have some really great entries for the Think Fast Sketches challenge - take a few minutes in the next day or two to make a card, I have another great prize waiting for the winner! (Deadline is Wednesday, October 10th).
Later.
Love both of your cards! the confetti one I will be lifting for sure.
