skipping stones fun

Hi, friends! Did you all have a nice Labor Day Weekend? We sure did - we took off and spent the weekend camping in Ouray, CO. What a treat! I have lots to share about that a little later.

Today, I want to introduce you to Skipping Stones Design. If you are a long time blog reader, you will remember that I did some card sketches for them a while back. Well, they must have gone over okay, because they asked me back (grin).

My first sketch for September looks something like this:

Pretty clean and simple, right? I decided to switch it up when making my card.

From clean and simple to grungy and splattery. Hee, hee. I've been dying to use Skipping Stones new Grunge 2 set; so here it is, in action. The filmstrip stamp started off the card, then I added some watercolors and a few Amy Tangerine stickers. Lastly, I splattered the card with watercolor and ink. Kind of crazy, right? But, I think I like it. Just Because.
