It's Friday!
That means you really need to check out the challenge posted right HERE.
Want to be reminded of the prize?
Today's crafts is trailer related. It's not something everyone needs, but I think the idea could be translated for your home, too.
I started packing a first aid kit for our upcoming trip. Things you don't always think about until you need them: bandaids, allergy medicine, children's fever reducer, antibiotic ointment, mosquito repellant (ya think we'll need that in Minnesota?), etc. Everything went in a handy little tote.
But, who says you can't make the tote "cute"? Hee. I've been hoarding (yes, I admit it) a bunch of the American Crafts Mr. Campy collection. So, I made a little label and added one of the fabric patches. Ohhhh - for cute.
I think you could dress up a kit for home, too. Maybe print a label, add some paper and presto - instant cuteness.
Now, what have I forgotten for my kit? Help me out.
Later.
How about anti-itch cream, tweezers and maybe a pair of scissors?

I was going to say itch cream, but I see that Cassie already mentioned that. Sunburn soother? Ben-Gay or Icy Hot? Love your kit!

Very cute. I'd say aloe vera or some sort of burn relief. You can stll burn outside of AZ. :)

What a fun trip for you all!!! Having worked for many years with groups of young children, we always brought a first aid pack with us on hikes and field trips. Things we used most often were bandaids (but plain ones, not your cool Angry Birds variety!), hand sanitizer or cleaning wipes, tweezers, and extra sunscreen. Great suggestions already in the other comments, and eyedrops may be appreciated by drivers, too.

I was going to suggest Baby Wipes (skinned knees/elbows); hand cleaner; anti itch cream; tweezers and sunscreen. Sorry if it's a repeat of any other suggestions.

I see your kit and remember that I always have a First Aid Kit (also with some personal care things)
I add to my kit bag (is small is the perfect size) a lot of things sometimes some people don't add (well I think that, i'm not sure)
Sometimes I add a plastic bag (supermarket plastic bag), some zip close plastic bag, paper towels (some pieces) and other things.
Long time ago I was visited Washington DC and broken a finger (fracture) and need some things that I don't have "bandaids" and for temporarily stabilize my finger.. so we went to a Pharmacy for others things for my finger.
I can wrote a lot of things more that I needed and don't have when I travel.
