Happy Monday! Taking a deep breath after a busy weekend. Before I get crafty - how about a little peek at the trailer?
You've heard the phrase "things get worse before they get better"? Um, yeah. Keith is down to the last window (for new gaskets) and the door. Until he discovered that a fair amount of water had leaked in around said door and window, so he had to do a little framing/wood repair. It wasn't THAT bad, but enough to put him a bit behind. He did get some primer sprayed on the front and back of the trailer. Except it was taking extra long to set up due to our hot hot days. Oh well, paint will have to wait a couple more days. Onwards we go.
How about a little organization fun? This is mostly directed to kids, but you could use the same idea for your own craft space. Gather up various cups, jars and even vases and fill them with fun crafty things. (Love that little mug I picked up from Goodwill).
Then, group all your containers on a fun tray. I bought this one several years ago (on clearance) at Target. Grouping items on a lazy susan is also fun (and practical). I didn't buy anything new for this project - just used what we had around the house. Need to pick up a couple bottles of tacky glue and we are set for a craft filled summer.
What fun kids crafts have you done? What items am I missing from my tray? I wonder about watercolors - too messy? Chime in here.
I want to try THIS fun craft, and do THIS with the older kids. Gotta love Pinterest for keeping all these ideas in a safe place. Follow me on Pinterest HERE.
Later.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! I've gotta do this immediately! Thanks for sharing! :)

I'm doing crafts at our vacation Bible School next week. I love the tray idea to keep supplies in 1 central location. I could do that in about 4 locations on the tables and the kids can find what they need easily. I also use empty Parmesan Cheese containers to hold craft supplies for my Sunday School class. They are the perfect size for many different items - colored pencils, pens, markers, scissors, rulers and glue sticks.
