Another chapter in the "Restoration Trailer" adventure. Thank goodness this one happened while I was out of town.
Keith has been cleaning and fixing all manner of things in our 1973 trailer.
In fact, if you look at the above photo you will see a steel panel to the right of that kitchen window and on the top of the trailer you see a corresponding black vent stack. (Um, that twirly bird is part of the neighbor's house, the black vent is shaped like a loaf of bread).
In any case, on the other side of that panel is our little refrigerator. We are really hoping that this works (the previous owner said it does). To find out, Keith was cleaning under and around the fridge and spotted some suspicious materials. Yep...
I am soooo glad I wasn't home.
For those of you not familiar with desert friends, this is a classic pat rack's home. Let's have a closer look.
Luckily, the rat was not home while his nest was getting a thorough cleaning. We think we lives out near Goodyear where the trailer was stored in a fenced yard in the desert. Trust me, I don't feel one bit bad about towing his home away.
My friends in Goodyear (Kim?), please give this homeless rat a nice place to stay, okay?
