Otherwise titled, sit back with your cup of coffee and enjoy.
Before I start, I would remiss if I didn't point out that Paper Crafts has begun announcing their SIX new Go To Gals. I'm thinking if I'm ever in a down mood, I'll just go back and read today's post on the Paper Crafts Connection (feeling a little embarrassed). Keep an eye on this blog for the next couple of weeks to see who the other five awesomely talented gals are!
Okay, I can't resist this little face first.
This is pretty typical of how Eloise looked all weekend - grubby face and all. Staying at Grandma's Cabin is our version of camping (with hot showers and soft beds, ahem).
Saturday morning we met the cousins in downtown Flagstaff for their town parade. The cabin is about 30 miles from downtown and I feel bad that we've never made it to their parade before (too lazy, I guess). It was really cute.
Whitney had the flag waving down.
Much anticipation waiting for the parade to begin.
Hands over your hearts for the color guard.
What's a parade in the pines without Smokey the Bear?
Harry couldn't believe his luck - they were handing out actual books on the parade route, not to mention candy, frisbees, frozen otter pops, whole cans of soda and more! Wow.
Ethan was jonesin' for a Geek Squad t-shirt, but he was too far back in the crowd.
The kids loved these gorgeous (and big) horses.
Ah, men in kilts. Need I say more?
Eloise stayed back a ways from the scary parade. A cookie and Mom's lap sounded better.
Whitney waving goodbye to the parade.
A quick shot of the whole crew before we scampered off to the park.
I actually have a few more photos from the weekend, but that will be another day. Tomorrow is Crafty Wednesday, so stay tuned!
Later.
oh that looks like it was so fun!! sigh... i miss eloise too. sob sob!

Just read the Paper Crafts Connection piece on you. You are so much fun!
I'm one of those rare birds, too...born in Mesa, lived there for like 25 years and then made the big move to Gilbert! We ARE rare, huh? Weird. Such a mobile society.
Loving poking around your blog. :oD
