Gee - it's already Friday and I still have so much to share. This probably means a Saturday post (rare) will be heading your way. Let's see, what's been going on this week? Let's wrap up.
Monday - Cosmo Cricket Design Team: Didn't get picked, but it was a shot in the dark to begin with. Julie has narrowed it down to a dozen or so and they are all really, really good. Can't wait to see her final choices (today maybe?).
Tuesday - Story time at the library; and I forgot to mention that Clara made Eloise's dress (as in sewed it up) plus made herself this adorable book bag. Clever, eh?
Wednesday - Stitched on the quilt and ended up scrapping with friend Ally (who has all week off of work) and made this layout. Yay! The start of my New York album. I also started this second page by borrowing friend Erin's Studio Calico stamps (yum).
Thursday - Enjoyed reading this announcement and welcoming the lovely and talented Kim Hughes to the six pack of new Go To Gals for Paper Crafts. Also, finished the string quilt after mucho amounts of machine quilting. I'm still getting the hang of this "stipple quilting" business, but it's getting better. Anyone have any tips or tutorials for me? Please link. Anywhoo - here's the finished quilt.
(A peek of the back and binding)
(Sorry for the blur - I was trying to get the quilting up close)
(Maybe a better shot of the quilting).
Friday - Hey! That's today. Well, I'm on lice patrol (might have been exposed last weekend). I'm typing up a recipe to share on Monday (make that two recipes). Grocery shopping for the weekend (hate doing that on Saturday), finishing the wash, editing more photos (will share some tomorrow), working on card assignments, is that enough? Heh.
Thanks for hanging in there for this long post. Now, go check out the 15 finalists in the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest. Really beautiful cards. The next round starts Monday!
Later.
What's more adorable, I can't say. The stitched bag. The LOs (especially the bagel one). The QUILT. So stinkin' clever. Lovely stuff!
