Sitting here enjoying the mountain breeze...ahhh! Finally made it "up the hill" after a few false starts. Clara's wire came loose on her braces - off to the orthodontist. A quick stop at the grocery store for diapers. Drive thru Chick-fil-A to save my children's lives (they were dying of hunger). Yeah, right.
But, we made it and it's worth it. Too bad Daddy has to stay in town with Ethan as they both have, ahem, jobs. But, we'll save them a spot on the deck when come up Friday with Grandpa.
We haven't just been sitting around either. I'm excited to share more of this project tomorrow, but in the meantime...here's a sneak of the latest quilting project.
I'm using some sort of odd program on Mom's laptop, so hopefully this photo comes out okay.
Fun fabrics, eh? And Mom and I decided we're "going green" this week - we're only using fabric from our stash. Boy, it feels good to use up these scraps. I'm cutting even smaller squares today, so I'll post the progress on those as it happens.
Have a super duper Wednesday - I'll be happy as a clam as I head back to the sewing machine.
Later.
Well the photo came out just great. I love the colors and the fabrics you are using. As you know I went North to quilt a little myself last week. I finished 3 quilt tops (smaller ones, but still 3) I love the fabric you chose. Your stash is my envy. I love love love love those fabrics. I have come back to your site 2 times now just to look at the fabric.... OH and good luck with Cosmo Cricket.. if you go for it... you will win! YOU rock sista!
