I figured it was probably time to share what happened to the doggie butts. Well, my handy husband created this:
(See there? That's my clever tie in to "crafty wednesday").
He cut a board the size I wanted, then painted it a smooth, glossy white. After attaching the dogs, I added a Making Memories mailbox letter above each hook. Despite what Uncle Andy thought "hey, cool, a designer Ecsh hook", those letters stand for each of the kids who use this bathroom: Ethan, Clara, Sophie and Harrison. Hmph.
To view the hook in context, I may as well share what the rest of the bathroom remodel looks like. I really, really like it. Since I'm sporting my 50mm lens on the camera, this will have to be in bits and pieces. Yah, I need a wider angle lens...I'm saving my pennies.
From the doorway
Keith also added the smooth paneling on the bottom 2/3 of the wall and painted it white. The color above the trim is Benny Moore Geranium. Yum.
The tub/shower is straight back, then the toilet on the right with this cool print Meghan created above the throne.
The IKEA sink and base (with a Kohler faucet) and a round mirror above.
A few details; the vintage sign in on the door, the Target shower curtain that started the color scheme, the average light (couldn't find a cuter one), Meghan's screen print.
This shot of the shower caddy cracks me up - so pink and orange and girly. Poor Ethan and Harry.
A close up of Harry's butt, I mean hook. Heh.
Thanks for taking a peek. Have you started any new home dec projects? Share.
Later.
WOW! What a great bathroom! I have a house full of renovations to do. So far we have started the scraproom. I would love to redo a bathroom or two...

Holy cow, Kim! We are seriously on the same wavelength. Our bathroom was yucky yellow with taupe painted paneling. I repainted the paneling white and the walls aqua a few weeks ago. 2 Weeks ago I hung individual hooks for everyone (NOW the boys can rehang their own towels - yay!) and labeled each with initials that I cut from some of the Quickutz vinyl. Saturday, hubby and I bought the EXACT SAME sink and cabinet from Ikea, lol. Still working on finishing it all up though...

Super cute! The doggy butts are darling and am loving the letters! We redid our bathroom. Made 2 baths out of 1 ... much needed. We are minus any color at this stage of the game and only the front bath is complete. Offwite walls with oaky cabinets. No IKEA up here and they don't deliver either. Ugh. I need to hang hooks up for towels and get it done this weekend. Might save a load of towel laundry every other day. :)

Add a few brown bottles and a brown scrubby... that should 'man' the room!
I think I will have to figure a way to harness the asthma when we are in Flag so I can come and see your project!
