one day at a time

I'm feeling blue this morning. I have so many thoughts about how blessed I am, especially after hearing the news that a family from church (and a close neighbor) is grieving for the loss of their five year old daughter. Why is it that terrible news like this makes one more grateful for all the good in our own lives? Something I certainly take for granted. I can't even really put it into words. But, I am remembering Lance and Amy in my prayers today.

Here's my layout using my old and new product. It's of my six year old...a photo that strikes me as a glimpse of what he will look like as he gets older. I think he needs a few extra hugs when he comes home from school today. (The stamps are Grandma's old ones - and the "1st" is from the Quickutz Diesel Alphabet; yes, it's the best, Susan!!)

I came across you blog to day sort of by accident. I want to say how much I love your layout but more than that. That I am saddened to hear of a family loosing a daughter. I will be praying for these people and even though I do not know them at all I know that God does and His power superceeds our own.

Just saying hi to my friend---I think it's helpful and healing to find the good in our lives when there is so much sadness surrounding us. Big loves to you Kim!
