friday PIF

Today's the day! It's PIF Friday. Since I just learned that lovely acronym, I will assume that someone besides me doesn't know what it means. PIF is Pay It Forward. Scrapbooking has such a great hobby for me that I think it's time to pay it forward. So, eleven of my blog readers are going to be sent "happy mail" as Stacy Julian would say. This is a whole goodie bag of embellishments to spark your creativity. It's color happy! I've included: ribbons, ric rac, felt flowers, a rainbow patch, a heart button, a sheet of Doodlebug letter stickers, a super hero stamp, brads, two library rings, a black tag, some vintage mailing labels, a die cut, some floss and photo corners, a sparkly pipe cleaner, a concho and a few other goodies. I'm adding some photos of what I did with my stack of goodies by just adding 2 pieces of 6 X 6" chipboard, some photos and some plain white cardstock. It was fun to whip out! So, what can you do to win?

As part of the prize, I'm including a Poetry dog tag on a chain - you have to choose one of the following words and leave me a comment why you pick that word. I have eleven different words - first come, first served. Oh, and please leave your e-mail, or check back to claim your prize. I need to be able to get your mailing addy. HAVE FUN! And happy NSD!

Hi Kim - I've enjoyed reading your blog this week. Lots of fun stuff :o) The word I would pick is 'place'. My 'place' is my scrap room. The place where I come to create and have some much needed 'me' time. I am one of the lucky ones to have a room of my own for all my scrapbooking and stamping stuff. It's still a work in progress, I'm always rearanging it to make it work better or coming up with new ways to organize things. I've enjoyed checking out the pictures of your room (I love the colours you used). Happy NSD to you :o)

woops! Forgot to leave my email:

"May" my birthday month! 19th for me, 16th for Keith! It's always fun to see your work! You're a great inspiration to me.

hey kimmers...my word is "YOU"..."you" make me giggle...make me smile....make me want to live closer...make me want to pull all of my scrap stuff out and scrap right now...make me want to put away my editing...make me want to travel to a cabin and chill....but most importantly "you" make me feel happy inside by looking at all your beautiful creations and what "you" have done with that happy, beautiful family of yours! have a happy day!

Faithful reader, infrequent poster. I choose TIME because I wish I had more of it, especially this month. Your work is GORGEOUS as always!

Fun stuff!! I would choose begin but it seems like I am always in the "starting over" stage. Good reminder for me that I can start over. I absolutely love your mini book.

I pick beautiful :) That is what life is......

FUN :)

Love your blog. I recently discovered it, and I copied your ribbon on the paper towel rolls idea. Genious!!!!

Anyways, I pick Dare......because I have four boys and they are always daring to do crazy stuff. I can so picture a page with DON'T YOU DARE on it.

I pick morning, because its morning here in australia and I am drinking my coffee to wake me up! Thanks for sharing!

I would go with ask. it makes me think of the scripture- ask and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened- I don't think I quoted it quite right, but sometimes all we have to do is ask. what a good reminder!

Hi, Kim! My pick would be BEAUTIFUL because I love all things beautiful. It's one of the most important words in my world, I think. :) Seeing and noticing beautiful things just makes me happy. I got home from the hospital yesterday and our yard is full of flowers, all over! Yeppee May! We've been renting this place for the winter and these flowers on the yard were a big happy surprise. Guess what else??? We had a beautiful baby boy on Monday, did you hear? He is the prettiest tiny human being I've ever seen in my life. He is beautiful :).

Oops, if "beautiful" is picked do I have to pick another one?? What do you have left, "yes" and "tell"? Well... I'm kinda out of ideas right now while trying to get this beautiful screaming creature to nurse and learning to type one-handed again :), but maybe "yes" fits me better. Did you see pics of li'l Joshua on Von's page yet?

I guess I'll pick the May, because I´m SO happy it´s here again! Unbelieveble warm here in Finland! May always means that summer is coming and nature is so beautiful!

Hey, not coming by to win anything - just wanted to come by and say hi to a talented and super sweet gal.

HUGS!!!

I pick TELL because it hasn't been picked yet....and that would mean I win something. TELL me it's true! I have been reading your blog for the past few months after stumbling upon it through a series of fortunate events. I fell in love with scrapbooking not long age and have been growing a small collection to feed this hobby which keeps me sane. If I win something that would be awesome but if not then I will keep reading which is a treat in itself. Thanks.

I pick the word "yes". It's Possitive-YES! No questions asked-YES! Yes I can! Yes YOU can.

my e-mail is daytonadawn20@aol.com

Kim, I just love reading your blog. I am going to pick Dare. Because that is a lot of how I live my life. Dare to dream, Dare to Believe, Dare to Hope,Dare to look and dare to do something about it. A lot of this has to do with my son whom has Autism and I because of him I have done all the above and more.
